NEET PG 2021 Exam Date Latest Update, Eligibility, Counselling Process

The National Board of Examination has recently announced the NEET PG 2021 Exam date. Also, the registration window for the exam is now open, students can visit the official website and submit their application. The National Elgibility Cum Entrance Test for post-graduation is scheduled for 18 April. After qualifying the NEET PG exam with good marks students have to register themselves for NEET PG Counselling.

  

It is conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee for inviting admission on 50% seats. Students can also register for counselling conducted by state medical councils to get admission in state government-owned or private colleges. After this, students can get admission in MD MS programmes offered by their desired medical colleges in India. 


NEET PG 2021 Elgibility Criteria


Only eligible students will be allowed to appear in the NEET PG 2021 scheduled for April 18. For this students have to complete the eligibility criteria and then visit the official website of NEET PG to proceed with the registration process.

  1. Applicants must have a valid MBBS degree from a recognizable medical university/ college by the UGC or Medical Council of India (Now National Medical Commission).

     

  2. Must have completed the 1-year internship before the given guidelines by the National Board of Examination (Exam Conducting Body).

     

  3. Applicants must have registered with the Medical Council of India or any State Medical Council.


Above mentioned NEET PG 2021 eligibility criteria are compulsory to fill up the application for the exam. In case, any applicant proved ineligible then her/his application will be cancelled by the National Board of Examination without prior notice. Also, he/she will not be allowed in the exam centre.

The NBE announced the important dates for NEET PG 2021 on 23 February. According to the announcement, students can visit the official website of NBE and complete the registration. The last date of registration is 15 march till 6:00 PM.

NEET PG Counselling


After obtaining the cut-off score, students can shortlist the desired colleges or other college options. It is important to register for NEET PG counselling conducted by MCC or the state medical council. You can fill up the college and course choice according to their interests and availability. 


Some key changes made by the National Board of Examination for the National Eligibility cum entrance test for postgraduation will be conducted this year in April Month. Applicants should check once before registration. Also, there will be few guidelines to prevent COVID-19, students are ordered to follow them during the exam.
